2. Registration and Booking2.1.
How to register: You can sign up via our website, by email, or using a registration form.
2.2.
Age requirements: The minimum age depends on the specific course and is indicated in the course description.
2.3.
Booking confirmation: A booking confirmation will be sent to your email address once your reservation is complete. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive this email.
2.4.
Schedule changes: We reserve the right to change the course schedule. In the event of significant changes, participants will be notified in advance.
3. Payments and Fees3.1.
Pricing: All prices are listed in euro and are subject to applicable taxes. Prices may vary depending on the type of class, event, or service booked.
3.2.
Payment options:- Per class
- Monthly payments
- Per trimester
- Full academic year
- 10-class pass (for participants with Stadspas)
The preferred payment plan is selected at the time of registration.
3.3.
Payment methods: Payment can be made in cash or via bank transfer upon receiving an invoice by email.
4. Absences and Cancellations4.1.
Regular classes:Missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
If a class is cancelled by the studio (e.g., due to illness of the teacher), we will offer a replacement class or compensation.
4.2.
Stadspas students:Lessons purchased via the Stadspas program are valid for 10 consecutive weeks. Missed classes cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
4.3.
One-time workshops and events:- Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance are fully refundable.
- Cancellations made 2–13 days in advance receive a credit for future use.
- Cancellations within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund or credit.
- If the studio cancels an event, a full refund or an alternative date will be offered.
5. Behavior and Safety5.1.
Respectful behavior: We expect all participants to act respectfully and professionally during classes and workshops. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the class without a refund.
5.2.
Children’s supervision: Young children may need to be accompanied by an adult, as stated in the event description.
5.3.
Personal belongings: The studio is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
5.4.
Ceramic work disclaimer: Despite the professionalism of our team, ceramic pieces may crack, deform, or break during drying or firing. The studio is not liable for such occurrences.
6. Student Artwork6.1.
Storage: Finished works are stored in the studio for 8 weeks after you are notified. After that time, they may be disposed of or repurposed at our discretion.
7. Gift Cards7.1.
Validity: Gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
7.2.
Usage: If the class price exceeds the value of the gift card, the difference must be paid. If the price is lower, the remaining credit can be used later.
7.3.
No refunds: Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.
8. Intellectual Property8.1.
Student work: All work created in class remains the intellectual property of the participant. However, the studio reserves the right to photograph artworks for promotional purposes.
8.2.
Website content: All content on the Kunst op Zolder website is protected and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
9. Privacy and Communications9.1.
Data collection: We collect personal information (name, email, phone number) solely for registration and communication purposes.
9.2.
Data protection: Your data is securely stored and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
9.3.
Communications and updates: We may use your contact details to send information about your course, updates, and relevant service announcements.
With your consent, we may also send information about promotions, events, or programs.
You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us directly.
10. Liability10.1.
Limited liability: The studio is not liable for injuries or damages incurred during classes unless due to proven negligence.
10.2.
Force majeure: We are not responsible for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, technical failures, public health emergencies).
11. Changes to Terms11.1. Kunst op Zolder reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. The current version will always be available on our website.
12. Governing Law12.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
